Unsolved Homicide Project

Justice for Murdered Children/ Justice for Homicide Victims are extremely pleased to announce that we have entered into a partnership with the Pasadena Star News in a effort to bring greater attention to the growing number of unsolved homicides in the Los Angeles County area and to hopefully solve a case or two.

The Pasadena Star News (www.PasadenaStarNews.com/coldcases) has agreed to publish pictures and background information on any unsolved homicide case in Los Angeles on their online website. Additionally, the newspaper is highlighting an individual unsolved case weekly; they have established a facebook page and are on tweeter. We all know that the media can bring a lot of attention to a homicide case. It only takes one person, one call, to turn an unsolved case to solve.

We at Justice for Murdered Children/ Justice for Homicide Victims are optimistic of establishing a comprehensive list of all unsolved Los Angeles County homicides on the Pasadena Star News website. Linking any Rewards offered by County or City officials on the Pasadena Star News website would help increase awareness. The newspaper is willing to post a copy of the reward poster on the site along with a picture of any unsolved Los Angeles homicide.

If you have knowledge of an unsolved homicide, please take a look at the Pasadena Star News website.

If you wish to submit an unsolved case, you will need to fill out a copy of the release form and send it along with a picture of the victim to pictures@jfmc.org or websalsa@pacbell.net

Let's all pull together and make this project a great success. If you have any questions, please fill free to give us a call.

We urge anyone who has information regarding unsolved cases and that want to remain anonymous to contact TIPLA, WE TIP or Crime Stoppers or contact the appropriate police agency handling the case.

Those wishing to remain anonymous, call Los Angeles Crime Stoppers by dialing (800) 222-TIPS (8477). You can also Text "TIPLA" plus your message" to CRIMES (274637)
